I am running for Supervisor of Elections because I care about the security and accuracy of our local elections. I will continue to uphold the Integrity of the Office of Elections through my Commitment to transparency and bipartisanship, and my extensive Experience as a proven leader in our community. I want to ensure voter confidence in the Supervisor of Elections office. I want our voters to know that elections are as important to me as their vote is to them.
I will continue acting consistently with what is ethical, while taking responsibility of bipartisan views and instill a vision that leads us together into the future. The election process is important to each voter. It is my pledge to be accountable to the taxpayers for secure and accurate elections.
I have devoted countless years of service to worthy organizations as well as events in Wakulla County. Many of these years were spent coaching youth sports. I have a strong dedication to the beauty and serenity of Wakulla County. Therefore I am a part of Keep Wakulla Beautiful and currently serving as the President of the Board of Director. I have lived in Wakulla County my entire life and care about our county and its citizens.
I have eleven years’ experience in state and local elections. Seven years were served in Wakulla County, as the Deputy Chief at Wakulla County Elections Office. I have experience in all aspects of the election cycles from procurement of new technology to the major ballot recounts of past years.
My name is Joe Morgan and I am running for Supervisor of Elections in Wakulla County. I was raised in Wakulla County and I am class of 1991, WHS. I grew up in New Light Church and now attend Ivan Assembly of God. I am married to my wife of 23 years, Debi. We have 4 children and 4 grandchildren! Some of my passions include hunting, fishing, and golfing.
I currently serve as President of the board for Keep Wakulla County Beautiful, serve on the Crawfordville Lion’s Club committee and the one cent sales tax committee and involved in many other activities throughout the county.
I have served as the Chief Deputy of Wakulla County Elections for the last seven years under Buddy Wells and strive to make the election process smooth and seamless for all our Wakulla County voters.
I believe very strongly in my faith, family and principles. I have always tried to serve in any capacity to and for our community. I have the Integrity it takes to lead this office; I have the Commitment it takes to move our office forward and I have the experience necessary to implement the ideas needed for our future elections.
